This work has been made in the process of wanting to scale things down instead of blowing things up. I was testing how small I could weave and still maintain the information i wanted to include in the image.
Weaving with a white warp thread and white weft thread, I was researching damask weaving methods, a method used in communication through war times, where information could be both shared and hidden at the same time.
The wooden structures has been made in collaboration with Reineer from ‘Vi-Tre’, Bontebok.
